      Hi farhan
Great question, but difficult to chose an answer 🙂
I think I enjoy the problem solving aspect of engineering – seeing something that doesn’t work (or could work better) and thinking about how I might change it. The feeling you get when you try something that works well – that you know you’ve done – is just great!

      Hi farhan,

Snap! Same as Claire… Being paid to solve other peoples problems is awesome and gives me loads of satisfaction.

Sometimes, when the going gets tough, I have to stop and think how lucky I am to have found a career I am pretty good at and enjoy so much, then I get back to the laptop and work a little bit harder!

      🙂

As with Alex and Claire, it’s all about having new challenges every day that need solving!

Similarly to the others, I find it very satisfying to be able to look at a problem and think, ah, I know how to solve that. I know that the skills I have learned and am still learning can be applied to really important medical problems – and the world needs people who do this! This is what keeps me going when I am frustrated or stuck.
