      Hey stasia123,

Great question, no one has asked that yet on here.

I did my PhD whilst working for a company so during my time there as well as engineers we had physicists, biologists, chemists, sales people, plenty of consultants and a management team (they wear the suits).

Now that I work on my own research projects I get to move about more and meet some experts in their field. Some of these people are successful businessmen and CEOs of companies, others are really good clinicians, doctors and surgeons.

The most insightful (and inspirational) people I meet though is often the patients themselves. They are the ones who suffer from injury/illness and it’s what they experience that is the most important thing to take account of when designing a device that they will use.
